What is a Block Party?

In 2023, Wesley hosted its first ever Block Party…but what even is a Block Party? This event is a Party with a PURPOSE! The Wesley Community will come together for this adults only, more casual version of a Gala to celebrate and raise funds to replace Wesley's Turf Field to provide a safer and cleaner area for all of our students to play. The replacement will enhance the safety of our field and ensure that shedding of the grass doesn't happen on all of the uniforms!

What do I wear? 

This is a much more casual event compared to our traditional Gala. We want you to channel your inner New Yorker and come dressed in that vibe, whatever that means to you! Maybe it's a hip hop feel with jeans and sneakers, broadway baby, sports fan, mobster, gangster, or glamorous diva. Come ready to dance and have a great time!

Will there be an Auction? 

There will be a small online Auction that features some trips, unique experiences, items, and raffle opportunities. Some will be in a bidding capacity while others are a flat rate raffle ticket cost. There will also be a LIVE in-person auction with a few exciting trips and the coveted Wesley Parking Space! Stay tuned for more info on packages!

What is the Fund-a-Need?

Fund-a-Need is a wonderful opportunity for our community to dedicate donations for a specific area of need at Wesley.  Fund-a-Need will take place both online and in-person at the Block Party. Everyone will have a chance to donate at their chosen giving level. This year, funds will go towards replacing the Wesley Turf Field.

Can I donate Auction Items?

Our success depends on the quantity and quality of our items! As such, we appreciate all the help we can get when it comes to collecting unique and amazing items or experiences! If you have anything you’d like to donate, please email the Development Office at development@wesleyschool.org.
