Class Theme Auction Items
The following class themes are meant to spark creativity and be used as a guide when helping to contribute items to our Auction. However, should you have any additional unique or amazing items/opportunities that fall outside of your class theme, please reach out to the Development Office at development@wesleyschool.org with those as well! The hope is that you won’t buy any of these items personally, but that you’ll use your own personal connections and/or by reaching out to places directly for donations. Our Auction occurs only once every other year, and the sales from these auction items and experiences help raise a lot of money for our school!
Kindergarten – A Little Adventure
- Theme park tickets/water park passes, Club 33 access, mini golf, the zoo or aquarium, music classes, bounce houses, arcades, kid-friendly restaurants /treat gift cards, video games/consoles, access to movie showings or lot tours, etc.
Let’s take a little adventure! The Kindergarten theme is chock full of fun and adventure to thrill the little ones with epic family fun! From unforgettable outings to yummy treats to activities the whole family will love, this theme covers everything family fun related - from theme parks to music classes, the Fair, or zoo, and more!
1st Grade – Date Night
- Bike rentals, movies & restaurant gift certificates, wine tasting, axe throwing, uber/lyft, cooking class, bowling, flower delivery gift cards
Date Night is an investment in the relationship that’s truly the heart of your family. The 1st Grade theme is a treasure trove of ways to spend some quality time with your best guy or gal! Whatever floats your collective boat: explore your neighborhood on bikes, throw axes (not at each other!), or simply enjoy a romantic dinner at a table for two.
2nd Grade – Wanna Get Away
- All things travel! Plane tickets/miles/gift cards, hotels, excursions, water sport rentals, beach/lake house rentals in or out of state, concert/festival tickets, luxury travel items, car rentals, cruises, pet boarding, AirBnb gift cards, etc.
I don’t know about you, but we’re ready to fly away and take a VACAY! The 2nd Grade theme is all things travel related! Whether it’s that vacation house in Maui, tickets to the best summer festival ever, or securing free boarding for our furry friends, this themed package will have it covered!
3rd Grade – All Things LEGO
- LEGO building sets, LEGOland theme park passes, LEGO store gift cards, etc.
LEGO is the fun that never ends for all ages! Lean into that creative side and remember that “Everything is Awesome”. The 3rd Grade theme is all things LEGO related. Whether it’s passes to the holy grail aka LEGOland, LEGO building sets for all ages, or a LEGO store gift card to pick out their favorite item…just imagine - what will you make?!
4th Grade – Staycation
- Spa certificates, local hotels, manicures, yoga, exercise class passes, massages, movie passes, museum passes, local excursions, restaurants, boutiques, bars, experiences, uber eats or door dash gift cards, etc.
There’s no place like home! The 4th Grade theme is all about supporting our local community and businesses throughout the Valley and surrounding areas. Traveling can be stressful, so if relaxation is your goal, the Staycation is where it’s at. We’re looking for gift cards/certificates from your favorite places ranging from your local bar to your favorite mom and pop restaurant or your best friend’s boutique clothing store!
5th Grade – Build-a-Bar
- Cocktail collection: vodka, tequila, rum, gin, whiskey, scotch, olives, bloody mary mix, margarita salt & mixer, shakers, stirrers, glasses, cocktail recipe books, etc.
This one pretty much sells itself, so we’ll keep it short. The 5th Grade theme is a cocktail collection to help build your dream bar. And of course, all the trimmings that help make alcohol that much more fun and enjoyable. You want it, end of story.
6th Grade – Sports Galore
- Sports tickets, signed memorabilia from players, poker chips, car wash gift certificates, darts, adventure passes, golf items, Nike gift cards, Top Golf, etc.
Hey sports fans! This one is for all of you who bleed Dodger blue, love the Lakers, and are still living off of that LA Rams Super Bowl high. The 6th Grade theme is looking for tickets to cheer on LA’s teams in person, matching swag & memorabilia, and anything else that your favorite sports fan would love!
7th and 8th Grades – Build a Wine Cellar
- Bottles of wine: red, white, rosé, bubbly priced at $25 and above.
Crowdsource your wine cave with the 7th & 8th Grade Wine Cellar. This eclectic collection of fine wines (priced at $25+) will fill out your personal collection ensuring that you’ve always got the perfect bottle on hand. Families can even go in together on the more expensive bottles!
